LaLiga

LaLiga, officially known as the Primera División, is the top professional football (soccer) league in Spain. It is governed by the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (LFP) and consists of 20 teams that compete annually for the championship title. Founded in 1929, LaLiga is considered one of the premier football leagues in the world, known for its high level of competition, skillful players, and prominent clubs, including Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Segunda División, the second tier of Spanish football. Each season runs from August to May, with teams playing 38 matches, each vying for points to secure the title, qualify for European competitions, or avoid relegation.
